Work Experience

Work experience is designed to help 16+ young adults make career choices, whether they are in school, university applicants or seeking experience prior to gaining employment.

South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust provides an invaluable opportunity to experience the ethics and culture of the health based workplace. We currently offer placements to applicants aged 16+ (17+ for Maternity) who live or are educated in Warwickshire.

Please find our application and health forms which need to be completed before a placement can be arranged:

Once your application has been received, the department that you have selected to request a placement in will be contacted. Once this placement has been agreed by both you and the department and your health clearance check has been cleared, then an honorary contract to sign will be sent to you. This contract will include the details of your supervisor for the work experience placement you will be completing with the Trust, so that you are able to contact them to arrange the details such as times of the placement and the location of the department.
