Who should attend

This practical session gives care home nursing and care staff the knowledge and skills to be able to support residents at risk of malnutrition

Course Objectives

The programme has been written by Registered Dietitians to help care home staff meet the Warwickshire Nutrition and Hydration Standards.

Course Programme

Participants will learn:

How a healthy balanced diet can be achieved for a range of dietary requirements
Factors that can impact on nutritional intake
How to accurately screen for malnutrition
A range of nutrition support measures that can be implemented to help prevent and treat malnutrition
