Who should attend

Anybody who requires a Basic Life Support certificate for work or leisure together with the safe use of an Automated External Defibrillation device.

Course Objectives

CPR for Adults and Children, signs and symptoms, recovery position, also including the effective treatment of choking and how to manage the Larger victim. To also understand why an AED is so important and how to prepare a body for the AED.

Course Programme

On completion of CPR training, the participant should be able to demonstrate resuscitation of an adult/Child in cardiac arrest. This should be assessed during or at the end of the training, using a simulated incident and a resuscitation training manikin.
